Role Description

In this role, you will create sketches, make models, and iterate designs for our wheelchair storage accessory. You will work to develop and refine concepts for our product while considering user needs and feedback relating to qualities such as accessibility, independence, ergonomics, and ease of use. You will be responsible for attending weekly group meetings and collaborating with teammates to document your team's design process for presentations and evaluations.

Project Summary

This project aims to design and develop a wheelchair accessory that will allow wheelchair users to independently carry and access their personal belongings while using their wheelchairs. This semester, our team aims to continue our ideation process and prototype generation by connecting with assistive device experts and wheelchair users to refine our leading designs into high-fidelity prototypes.
